Strengthening Nordic Collaboration on Clinical Trials

On April 25, 2025, NorCRIN’s Working Group for International Collaboration hosted a Nordic seminar at Gardermoen, bringing together key stakeholders from across the Nordic region.

The goal: share experiences, explore challenges and opportunities for closer cooperation between national clinical research support networks.

The participants were strongly supportive to establishing a joint Nordic network to enhance the quality and quantity of both academic and industry-sponsored clinical trials.

Nordic countries are stronger together, and the network will be committed to strategic and operational collaboration to:

  • Competence enhancement in order to simplify trial conduct
  • Leverage Nordic strengths and increase visibility and influence
  • Align with relevant national, regional and global networks

A coordination group with representatives from each country will lead the next steps, supported by this temporary webpage hosted by NorCRIN.
